If you haven't already - please send in y our Book It reading log for the month of October. I will be sending new reading logs home next week for the students to earn a free personal pan pizza.

Parent Teacher Conference

Just a friendly reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences are tomorrow from4-7. I look forward to seeing you there!

No Folders Monday

We will not be sending home folders today. There is no copy paper available so I cannot copy homework or the weekly newsletter. Hopefully the paper will be delivered today and I will be able to send homework folders home tomorrow.

Final Count for Round 1

Congratulations!! We officially won round 1 of the Box Top Collection. We will be receiving our sweet treat for the reward on Wednesday.

A Billionaire

"When I get enough money, I'm gonna be a billioner (billionaire) and I am gonna buy me a monster truck!"

Box Top Count

WOW!! We had 691 Box Tops that we turned in as a class. That is an amazing number. I will know the final count of all other classes by the end of the day. As of right now, we are in the lead!

Book It

Every month I will fill in 4 books that we will read in class. You just need to read 4 books on your own.

Scholastic Books

You can order the books online at scholastic.com. Just use our classroom information so that we get credit for them. Use the classroom code H79MD. Of course you can still send in the orders and I will submit them, but you may find this way easier.

Box Top Collections

Good News!!! Our classroom is in the lead!! The first box top collection ends on October 5th. I will post an update as soon as the count has been made.

Book It

The Book It Program starts in October. Each student has a form that they can complete at home by reading book with their parents or other family members. Once you have completed the chart, please return it to school with your student and they will be rewarded with a certificate from Pizza Hut for a personal pan pizza!!

We are competing against the other Kindergarten classrooms to see who has the most participation. So, please read with your student each night!! :)
